Air Purifier Review Redux

First, Air Purifier Review - 4 Key factors in the model review based on this model was sent to several key air purifier manufacturer. Unfortunately, except one, no one answered. This is puzzling, to say the least, that they ignore the users of air purifiers. Do they make them for end users like us? Are we not likely to buy an air purifier? Off response was discouraging, but we are not about to abandon our efforts to build a database for all users and potential users of air purifiers to make well informed choices.

Furthermore our latest post, now includes scientific assessment as the fifth key factor in our review of air purifier models. Although it is likely to draw a blank in the foreseeable future, it is inevitable. First, it may encourage someone to take the starkness debutante in the production of the first to admit scientific review of air purifier technology.

But seriously, the lack of scientific peer review is a major stumbling block for industrial air purification. It did not win over key stakeholders and interested parties such as the scientific community (indoor air quality experts, academics, environmentalists and activists). And most importantly, did not win the support of government agencies such as the U.S. EPA and NIOSH, and the medical community dealing with allergies and other medical conditions blamed on indoor pollution.

Is missing ALL air purification technology

There is no air purifier review , which contains scientific assessment. Note that this problem is not confined to ionic air purifier industry. Also all the other evils of technology in the industry, air purifier, whether that venerable HEPA and new kid-on-the-block (relatively speaking) the photo-catalytic oxidation, etc.
Why is no one in the industry for air purification take note of it? Instead, the industry focuses its efforts on persuading consumers. Millions are spent on advertising. Good money could be better spent. Why are blind to the fact that the consumer base will multiply manifold if there is only one, but a scientific review?
This is a no brainer. As an integral part of any air purifier review , scientific evaluation is the holy grail of industrial air purifier. Who gets the first May well have the same mythic power of leadership in the multimillion dollar business.

With regard to the superlative (understatement) the importance of scientific reviews, the biggest mystery is why no one thought worth producing a survey. It is understandable that no air purifier manufacturer has ordered one since it would negate the independence of the factor that is at the center of scientific assessments.
What is puzzling is why no scientist or scholar, especially those most qualified in the indoor air quality or environmental science disciplines, says that it is worthwhile to inspect an air purifier. Since it was first recognized scientific production grades in a multimillion industry certainly put one in the center of attention and open the door to funding for further research. And we know that the initial funding is not a problem because we have a direct quote from the U.S. NIOSH is prepared to fund the scientific evaluation to be professionally drawn up with the required parameters.

Is not a scientist or researcher is ready to embark on a quest for a truly independent scientific assessment begs the million dollar question is the industry of air purification big fraud on consumers? Or scientists believe that it is futile job can be compared to hunting for the Holy Grail a truth that can not be understood?

Inability to answer these intriguing questions pushes us into a larger request with our 5-Key factors model. Manufacturers to complete our survey questions based on the model piques us to dig deeper.
To recap, Air Purifier Review - 5 Key Factors Model is as follows:
(1) Safety - in relation to the reactive agent
(2) Safety - in relation to unintended by-products
(3) Efficiency - reactive agents working in the laboratory
(4) Efficiency - reactive agents work in the real world
(5) Scientific Peer Review
We have previously discussed each of these factors at length. We hope that manufacturers will see the need to be more transparent. After all, we are their customers. It is pointless for them to ignore us.
